In addition to a redesign of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification’s website, I designed and built the NCIDQ Health, Safety and Welfare Tool aimed at demonstrating the considerations an interior designer must take when designing a space.
The Flash tool starts with a zoomed-out view of a floorplan of a building, which can be zoomed in and panned around. From there, users can click into a specific room on the plan, where they’re presented with a 3D representation of that room, with options to highlight the health, safety and welfare design implications.
